Autism and ADHD

Our hangar is a quiet environment and only the visitor and the instructor are in the rooms. On the simulator side we can:
– Reduce the movement
– Reduce the volume
– If desired, always take breaks (without any time pressure) (overstimulation or loss of attention)
– Add all stimuli one after the other instead of together
– If desired, provide pictures of the environment and the instructor for familiarization
What we can’t do:
We work with head-mounted displays (HMD), also known as VR goggles. These are indispensable, but can make some people feel uncomfortable or cause anxiety due to their weight.
Elevator phobia ?
If you have problems with closed rooms or have a phobia of elevators, there is of course another way in. Our staff will meet you in front of the entrance at Beinwilerstrasse 11. It is best to arrange this in advance by telephone or via the contact form, you can then call us or we will wait for you at the entrance. Please do not hesitate to inform us accordingly.
Physical limitations
Full mobility of the hands and head are required to fly in the simulator. The legs are not absolutely necessary. However, the entrance to the simulator is approximately 90 cm high and additional assistance may be required to get in. We will consider installing a hoist at a later date.
All areas are otherwise accessible by wheelchair, but we do not currently have a wheelchair-accessible toilet.
